TERMS OF SERVICE

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Floor Judge, including our website at floorjudge.com, our Discord bot, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Floor Judge ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Floor Judge is an AI-powered Magic: The Gathering rules advisor. The Service provides:

• A Discord bot that answers MTG rules questions using slash commands
• A web-based chat interface at floorjudge.com
• Card data lookups via the Scryfall API
• Conversation history for paid tier subscribers

3. ACCOUNTS

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. SUBSCRIPTION TIERS AND PAYMENTS

Floor Judge offers the following subscription tiers:

• Timmy (Free) — 3 questions per user per day, no conversation history
• Johnny ($7.99/month or $69.99/year) — unlimited questions, 10 message history, 1 server
• Spike ($19.99/month or $169.99/year) — unlimited questions, last 20 messages history, up to 3 servers

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All prices are in US dollars.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at [email protected].

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service beyond normal use
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
• Share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms without prior notice.

6. AI-GENERATED CONTENT AND ACCURACY

We make no warranty that the rulings provided by Floor Judge are accurate, complete, or current. Card data is sourced from the Scryfall API, which is maintained by third parties.

You acknowledge that you use the rulings provided by Floor Judge at your own discretion and risk.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Floor Judge name, logo, website design, and original code are our intellectual property. You may not use, copy, or reproduce them without our express written permission.

Magic: The Gathering card names, rules text, and artwork are the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast LLC and are used under fair use for informational purposes.

8. THIRD PARTY SERVICES

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

• Discord — subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Scryfall — card data provider, subject to Scryfall's terms
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI provider powering our rules engine
• Stripe — payment processor, subject to Stripe's terms

We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

9. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Floor Judge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through your account settings.
